Questions
Do you have a COVID-19 policy?
I sure do. Booked dates may not be altered, changed or postponed due to COVID-19. Any changes or postponements will incur another non-refundable booking fee to be paid. Please note this includes postponements due to travel restrictions. The only exception to this rule is if we are in a “lockdown” in which instant the date/booking fee may be transferable to ONE other date within 12 months.
When is the best time to have a trial?
I normally recommend 6 – 8 weeks before the wedding, as by that time you have more of an idea as to what look/style you would like to go for – although you can book it at anytime its entirely upto you. Most people will tie in their trial with a special event to make the most of it.
Do I need to bring anything?
If you have any ideas of what you would like then it may be useful to provide some pictures, ideally from my instagram or facebook pages. For your trial it is best not to wear any makeup, just have fresh cleansed skin.
How long does makeup take?
Makeup application times vary based on the type of look you are wanting, I allow 45 minutes for a standard application or up to an hour for a more dramatic look.
Will my makeup last all day?
Yes, I pride myself on using premium products that are long lasting – however you may need to touch up lipstick throughout the day, which you can buy off me.
How far in advance do I need to book for a wedding?
I do get booked up quickly, especially during the summer months – I would recommend you book early to get the date of your choice to avoid disappointment. I take bookings as far as 18 months in advance.
Do you do hair too?
No sorry, but I can recommend some very good mobile hair dressers that I have worked with, if you are struggling to find someone.
Do I come to you or do you come to me?
I do trials at my place based in Mt Pleasant area – then on your wedding day I travel to your location wherever it may be (additional cost). Please enquire.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes – a $200 non-refundable or transferable booking fee is required to secure your date, which will come off the total price. Full payment is due before the wedding date or cash on the day of your event.
